XOLO
This collection is inspired by the Xoloitzcuintle dog breed, whose unique physiognomy influenced me, for example the cut-out shapes on the Xolo-Dress and the prints in the form of its characteristic ear shape. Some of the textures are also based on the distinctive skin of this animal. Overall, I like to take inspiration for my textures or patterns from natural forms, because nature can be often stunning beyond anything you can imagine. This capsule collection blends my strong interest in combining traditional couture pattern techniques with digital translations of materials/textures and working conceptually.
